The **Slope Intercept form of a Line **utility provides the slope-intercept form of a line based on the value of two points (x_{1} , y_{1} and x_{2} , y_{2}).

**INSTRUCTIONS:** Enter the following:

**Slope Intercept Line (y = mx +b):** The utility returns a string with the slope-intercept form of the line.

The** slope intercept form** gives the equation of a line, using the slope (m) and a point on the y-axis (b) as follows:

y = mx + b

The algorithm looks for the following special cases:

- If the two points are the same, no line is formed just a point.
- If the x components are the same, the slope is infinite, and the line has a constant value equal to the x component.
- If the y components are the same, the slope is zero, and the line has a constant value equal to the y component.

With the slope and intercept (b) from the slope intercept formula, you can enter any value of x and get the corresponding value of y on the line.
