The **Probability between z SCORES** calculator computes the area under the Normal Distribution curve between two z SCOREs.* Probability & Normal Distribution* This equates to the probability of an event in that range.

**Area Under the Normal Curve (P):** The calculator returns the area under the Normal Distribution curve between the z SCOREs. This is equivalent to the probability of an event occurring between the z SCOREs. It ranges from 0.00001 to 0.99999.

This z Score indicates the number of standard deviations an observation is above or below the mean. The equation for the z Score is:

where:
