The **Weight or Mass of a Ring** calculator computes the mass or weight of a ring (e.g. circular gasket) based on the thickness (t), outer diameter, inner diameter* flattened ring* and the mean density.

**INSTRUCTIONS:** Choose units and enter the following:

**RING Mass or Weight (M):** The calculator computes the mass of the ring in grams. However this can be automatically converted to any other mass and weight units (e.g. troy ounces) via the pull-down menu.

The equation for the mass of a ring is the volume of a ring times the mean density as follows:
