`RPMs = "bS" / (pi* "D" )`

Enter a value for all fields

The **Belt Pulley RPMs** calculator computes the RPMs of a pulley based on the belt speed (**bS**) and diameter (**D**) of the pulley.*Belt*

**INSTRUCTIONS:** Choose units and enter the following:

- (
**bS**) This is the linear speed of the belt - (
**D**) This is the diameter of the pulley.

**Pulley RPMs:** The calculator return the rotation rate in revolutions per minute. However this can be automatically converted to compatible units via the pull-down menu.

The formula for belt pulley RPMs is

RPM = bS / (π • D)

where:

- RPM is the belt pulley rotation rate
- bS is the belt speed
- D is the diameter of the pulley
