The Silver Round Broker calculator computes the BUY or SELL value of a number of silver rounds based on their size, the current spot price for silver and either a selling markup or buying discount percent with regard to the silver content value.

• (RS) Rounds Size (choose weight option for coins)
  • 1/10 oz, 1/4 oz, 1/2oz, 1 oz
  • 2 oz, 5 oz, 10 oz, 1 kilo
• (n) Number of Rounds
• (p) Purity (default .999 for fine silver)
• (SM) Sell Markup %
• (BD) Buy Discount %

Transaction Value (TV): The calculator returns the value of the silver rounds in U.S. dollars. However, this can be automatically converted to other currencies (e.g. Canadian dollars) via the pull-down menu.

The Math / Science

This equation uses the weight and purity of the silver rounds and the broker markup or discount, along with the current spot price of silver to determine the value of each item.  The user can enter a count (n) for multiple items.

• Gold Eagle Broker: Computes the BUY or SELL value of a number of American Gold Eagle coins based on their size, the current spot price for gold and either a selling markup or buying discount percent with regard to the gold content value.
• Gold Maple Leaf Broker:  Computes the BUY or SELL value of a number of Gold Canadian Maple Leaf coins based on their size, the current spot price for gold and either a selling markup or buying discount percent with regard to the gold content value.
• Krugerrand Broker: Computes the BUY or SELL value of a number of South African gold Krugerrand coins based on their size, the current spot price for gold and either a selling markup or buying discount percent with regard to the gold content value.
• Gold Bar Broker: Computes the BUY or SELL value of a number of gold bars based on their size, the current spot price for gold and either a selling markup or buying discount percent with regard to the pure gold content value.
• Silver Round Broker: Computes the BUY or SELL value of a number of silver rounds based on their size, the current spot price for silver and either a selling markup or buying discount percent with regard to the silver content value.  
• Silver Bar Broker: Computes the BUY or SELL value of a number of silver bars based on their size, the current spot price for silver and either a selling markup or buying discount percent with regard to the silver content value.
