The Gold Bar Broker calculator computes the BUY or SELL value of a number of gold bars based on their size, the current spot price for gold and either a selling markup or buying discount percent with regard to the pure gold content value.

(BS) Bar Size (choose weight option for gold bars)
- 1 gram, 5 gram, 10 gram, 20 gram, 1 troy ounce,
- 50 gram, 100 gram, 500 gram, 1 kilo, 400 troy ounces
(n) Number of Bars
(p) Purity (default 99.99% for 24 karat gold)
(SM) Sell Markup %
(BD) Buy Discount %

Transaction Value (TV): The calculator returns the value of the gold bars inn U.S. dollars. However, this can be automatically converted to other currencies (e.g. Canadian dollars) via the pull-down menu.

The Math / Science

This equation uses the weight and purity of the silver bars and the broker markup or discount, along with the current spot price of gold to determine the value of each item.
