The Flight Navigation Correction Angle calculator computes the navigation angle/azimuth correction angle (Δ) using the wind speed (WS), wind direction (β),
CorrectionAngle-illustration.pngCorrection angle parameters Flight Heading (α) and an Air Speed (AS) .

INSTRUCTIONS: Choose units and enter the following:

  • (WS) The wind speed
  • (β) The wind direction
  • (α) The flight angle(azimuth)
  • (AS) The air speed

Navigation Correction Angle (Δ):  The calculator returns the angle in degrees.  However this can be automatically converted to compatible units via the pull-down menu.
