`x = "v" * "t" `

Enter a value for all fields

The **Distance (Velocity, Time)** calculator uses the equation **x = v • t** to compute the distance (**x**) as a function of time traveling (**t**) at a constant velocity (**v**).

**INSTRUCTIONS:** Choose units and enter the following:

- (
**v**) Constant Velocity. - (
**t**) Duration of Travel.

**Distance (x):** The distance (**x**) is returned in meters. However, this can be automatically converted to other length or distance units via the pull-down menu.

**Related Calculators:**

- Compute the time from the distance and velocity.
- Compute the velocity from the distance and time.
- Compute the distance from the velocity and time.

This is a special case of the more general distance equation, where the initial displacement, x_{0}, is zero.
