`Deltat = x / v `

Enter a value for all fields

The **Duration of Travel** calculator computes the time required to travel a distance at a constant velocity.

**INSTRUCTIONS:** Choose units and enter the following:

- (
**Δx**) Distance Traveled - (
**v**) Constant Velocity

**Time of Travel (Δt):** The calculator returns the duration of the travel in seconds. However, this can be automatically converted to other duration units (e.g. days, months) via the pull-down menu.

The formula for the time required to travel a distance is:

where:

- t is the time to travel the distance
- x is the distance traveled
- v is the constant velocity
