The Liquid Fertilizer Mix calculator computes the total amount of liquid fertilizer or chemical needed for a total volume based on the unit volumes for the chemical and water.
INSTRUCTIONS: Choose units and enter the following:
Quantity of Fertilizer (Qf): The calculator returns the volume of fertilizer in gallons. However this can be automatically converted to compatible units via the pull-down menu.
This calculator compute the total amount of liquid chemical needed based on a total volume and a mix ratio. For example, a fertilizer mix is given at 12 fluid ounces (fm) per 20 gallons of water (Uw), and you want to find out how much chemical should be in 150 gallons (Vw). This calculator will tell you that you need 0..70 gallons (90 fluid ounces) to maintain the same ratio.
The formula for the Liquid Fertilizer Mix is:
Qf = Vw * (fm / Uw)
