The **Volume of Concrete in a Circular Pier **calculator computes the volume (**V**) of a circular pier (column) based on the width and height of the column.

**INSTRUCTIONS:** Choose units and enter the following:

**h**) Height of Column or Pier - (
**w**) Width (diameter) of Column or Pier - (
**n**) Number of Columns or Piers

**Concrete Volume (V):** The calculator returns the volume in cubic yards. However this can be automatically converted to other volume units via the pull-down menu. The calculator also returns the equivalent volume in:

- 80 pound bags of concrete
- 60 pound bags of concrete
- 40 pound bags of concrete

The formula for the volume of a circular column is:

V = π•r²•h•n

where:

- V = Volume of the column
- r = radius of the base
- h = height of the column
- n = number of columns or piers
