The **Electric Field Vector** calculator computes the vector based on the force vector and test charge.

**Electric Field Vector (`vecE`): **The calculator returns the vector in Newtons per Coulomb (N/C). The calculator also returns the magnitude of the electric field vector in Newtons per Coulomb (N/C). However, this can be automatically converted to compatible units via the pull-down menu.

The **Electric Field Vector** is found using the following formula:

`vecE=vecF/q_t`

where:

- `vecE` = electric field vector
- `vecF` = electric force vector
- `q_t` = test charge
