The **Wavelength **calculator computes the length of a wave based on the velocity of the wave (v) and the frequency (f).

**INSTRUCTIONS**: Choose units and enter the following:

**f**) This is the frequency of the wave.

**Wavelength (λ): ** The wavelength is returned in meters. However, this can be automatically converted to compatible units via the pull-down menu.

The formula for the wavelength based on velocity and frequency is:

λ = v/f

where:

- λ is the wavelength or distance between pulses
- v is the velocity of the wave
- f is the frequency of the wave
