The Subtract Percentage calculator subtracts (discounts) a specified percentage, y, from an original amount, x.
Instructions:
EXAMPLE:
If you have some value you want to decrease by a percentage, you are in essence performing the following:
Result = `x - (y/100 * x)` = `x * (1 - y/100)`
As an example 22,606 discounted by 8.5% would be:
Result = `22606 * (1 - 8.5/100)` = `22606 * 0.915` = 20684.49
