The **Mass or Weight of an Octagon Volume** calculator computes the mass of an octagonal shaped column or structure based on the length of the sides, the height and the mean density.

A regular octagon is an eight sided polygon where all of the sides are the same length (**s**) and all of the interior angles are the same. With a height (**h**), one can create a octagon shaped object (e.g. column or planter) and compute the volume of the octagon. The mass or weight of the octagon column is simply the volume times the mean density of the material comprising the column.
