The **Change in Velocity **calculator computes the difference of two velocities (v_{1} and v_{2}).

**INSTRUCTIONS**: Choose units and enter the following:

- (
**v**) Velocity 1_{1} - (
**v**) Velocity 2_{2}

**Velocity Subtraction (v): **The calculator returns the delta of the two velocities (**v**) in meters per seconds. However, this can be automatically converted into other velocity units via the pull-down menu.

#### The Math / Science

The formula for the change between two velocities is:

v = v_{1} - v_{2}

where:

- v is the difference of two velocities
- v
_{1}is the first velocity - v
_{2}is the second velocity
