Edit a Calculator's Wiki Page

The wiki page for a calculator has all of the standard features of a vCalc wiki.  However, a calculator's wiki page will also have the following features and capabilities:CalcIconName.png 

  1. The calculator's wiki will have a calculator icon, your calculator’s name and its reviewed status in the upper right of the wiki. Until an authoritative body (e.g. University, Institution) has reviewed it and put their stamp on it, the default review status of a calculator is not reviewed.   2. The calculator's wiki page will have the tab(s) and buttons for your calculator on the right.  Click on these buttons and the appropriate equation or constant will appear in a popup window that will prompt you for the data inputs for the equations and/or display the result of CalcEdit.pngany constants.
  3. The Edit button will have a choice to edit the calculator's Buttons and Layout or wiki content

Use the wiki to enter whatever descriptions or images you wish to help you or others to use your calculator.  You may leave the wiki blank, but we encourage you to add instruction if you'll share your calculator with others.

To add descriptive information and format images in your calculator’s wiki page, click on the Edit button and choose either the Wiki editor or the WYSIWYG editor.  If you are unfamiliar with the wiki syntax, we suggest you use the WYSIWYG editor.
Once you are happy with your calculator, share it with your friends and colleagues in your different social networks by clicking on the Share button.
