Pipe Flow Volume Weight (M): The weight of the accumulated flow is returned in pounds.  However, these can be automatically converted to compatible units via the pull-down menu.

The Pipe Flow Volume Weight equation calculates the mass or weight of a substance from a conduit.  

The formula for the Pipe Flow Volume Weight is:

M = FR * D *mD

where:

• M = mass or weight of the accumulated fluid
• FR = Flow Rate
• D = Duration of Flow
• mD = Mean Density of Fluid (Note: the default above is 998.2 kg/m³ which is the density of water at STP)
