The BMI is defined as the body mass divided by the square of the body height, and is universally expressed in units of kg/m2, resulting from mass in kilograms and height in meters.
This calculator accepts height in feet and weight in kilograms hence solving the problem of having to convert feet into meters since it is the common unit used in Kenya. The calculator however can only work with feet since it has an internal converter.
