The purity of the U.S. gold eagle coin is 0.9167. So a 1 ounce coin has 0.9167 ounces of gold. The user entered numismatic value (adder), and the current spot price of gold are used to determine the value of each coin.

- Density of Gold: This is the mean density of gold bullion (.9999).
- Gold Eagle: This computes the value of U.S. Gold Eagle coins based on their size, the number of coins, SPOT and any numismatic adders.
- Krugerrand: This computes the value of South African Krugerrand coins based on their size, the number of coins, SPOT and any numismatic adders.
- British Sovereigns: This computes the value of British Sovereign coins based on the number of coins, SPOT and any numismatic adders.
