Astronomical Units

Astronomical units are measurements that are used in relation to celestial objects (such as stars, galaxies, planets, moons, asteroids, comets and nebulae).
The astronomical unit (AU) is used primarily as a convenient yardstick for measuring distances within the Solar System or around other stars.
