This data set lists all 96 of the valid World of Warcraft (WoW) character combinations of faction, race and class.
Data Fields
This data set contains all valid combinations of the following:
- Faction - there are two factions in World of Warcraft: Alliance and Horde. These two factions are enemies in regular game play.
- Race - there are thirteen races represented in WoW. Each Alliance has six sworn Races and the thirteenth race, the Pandaren, will choose an Alliance after the character has achieved a higher level
- Alliance Races : Drainei, Dwarf, Gnome, Human, Night Elf, Worgen
- Horde Races : Blood Elf, Goblin, Orc, Tauren, Troll, Undead
- Class - there are eleven classes represented amongst the Races: Death Knight,Druid,Hunter,Mage,Monk,Paladin,Priest,Rogue,Shaman,Warlock,Warrior. Not all classes are valid classes for all races. For instance, Gnomes (of the Alliance faction) can only be: Death Knight, Monk Mage, Warlock, Warrior, or Priest.
Usage
This vCalc dataset will support an equation in equation (EiE), such as WoW Select Character, for use in various simulation and analysis functions also built as vCalc equations. This Wow-Character Choices data set provides all valid combinations of characters' faction, race and class. The key relationships shown by this data set are which Races belong to which Faction and which Classes pertain to which Races.
There are a total of 96 valid faction/race/class combinations.
