This equation computes the Gauge Factor, the ratio of change in electrical resistance to the strain on a conductive element.  The strain is the ratio of the change in length to the nominal length, `L_0`.  The change in resistance is measured as the `Delta`R/R, where R is the nominal resistance at nominal length.

GF = (`Delta R` / `R_"Nominal"`) / `epsilon`, where `epsilon` = `Delta L`/`L_"Nominal"`
