This conversion equation takes input whole and input fractional yards and converts their sum into inches.

Whole Yards - number of whole yards (if any)

Fractional Yards - fraction of a yard (if any)

NOTES

This equations takes some number of fractional yards and converts them into inches.

If you have more than a yard in length, then input the whole yards into the "Whole Yards" input field and select the fractional yards from the "Fraction of a yard" pull-down list.

EXAMPLE

if you have 3-3/4 yards, you would input 3 in the "Whole Yards" input field and select 3/4 from the "Fraction of a yard" pull-down list.  The result would then display as: 135 in.
