[**Education | K-12**] This equation lets you choose a multiple of ten and then see what multiple of ten follows that number.

We're using counting integers here:

**10**,** ****2**0, **30**, **40**, **50**, **60**, **70**, **80**, 90, **100**, ...

For example: Enter the number **50**.

What comes next?

**COUNTING BY TENS TO 100**

You count by tens and hear it in your head like a song.

10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100

For the real math wizard:

When you count by tens it's the same as multiplying the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 by ten

1 X 10 is 10

2 X 10 is 20

3 X 10 is 30
