The Polygon Slab Perimeter calculator computes the the perimeter of a regular polygon's area. The polygon radius is the distance from the center of the polygon to one of the vertices of the polygon.
Enter the following:
The calculator returns the length of the perimeter of the polygon. The default units are feet. However, the user can choose different length units (e.g. meters) for the input radius or the output perimeter via the pull-down menu.
This equation could be used to compute the number of linear feet of border trim for a polygon slab or the structure set on the polygon slab. Remember that if you are using this equation to compute the length of molding you wish to mount around the base of a structure, like a gazebo, this computes the inner dimension of that molding. The molding might have to be purchased slightly longer to accommodate the miter joint at each vertices.
