The Piston Displacement calculator enginecylindervolume-illustration.png         Piston Cylinder computes the displacement volume of a cylinder based on the cylinder bore and the piston stroke length.

INSTRUCTIONS:  Choose units and enter the following:

  • (b) The diameter of the cylinder's bore.
  • (s) The stroke length of the piston in the cylinder.

Piston Displacement (D): The calculator returns the stroke displacement in milliliters (mL).  However, this can be automatically converted to other volume units (e.g. cm3) via the pull-down menu.
