The Loudness Factor equation computes the Unison loudness/sustainment factor, which is an acoustic measurement that should decrease smoothly as one goes up the piano scale.
INPUTS
The inputs are as follows:
P - pitch (Hertz)
L - speaking length (inches)
d - core wire diameter (mils aka `(1/1000)^s` of inches)
A - wrap wire material
D - total wire diameter (mils), and a - which is a unit-less coefficient.
