The Flooring Material Cost calculator computes the price of the amount of flooring needed to cover an area (A) at a product unit price (UP) per square foot.

INSTRUCTIONS:  Choose your area and currency units and enter the following:

  • (A) The area of flooring you wish to buy (e.g. 3.4 square yards of carpet).
  • (UP) The unit price per square foot.  (e.g. one square foot of carpet tile costs $1.98 USD)

Flooring Material Cost: The calculator will compute the flooring material cost for the total area (A) in U.S. dollars.   However, this can be automatically converted into numerous other currencies (see list below) via the pull-down menu next to the answer.
