The **Pear Shaped Diamond Weight** calculator computes the approximate weight of a Pear-shaped (teardrop shaped) brilliant diamond based on the vertical and horizontal widths, and the depth. Furthermore, the user must enter a thickness factor for the diamond's girdle ranging from: Slightly Thick,Thick,Very Thick, to Extremely Thick. This is used to calculate the weight correction factor.

**INSTRUCTIONS:** Choose units and enter the following:

**t**) Girdle Thickness Factor: This is a factor of the girdle (middle) of the diamond. Uses the pull-down menu to select the appropriate girdle factor.

**Carat Weight:** The calculator returns weight of the diamond in carats. However, this can be automatically converted to other weight units (e.g. grams) via the pull-down menu.
