[Private Equation]
chapter 1: introduction
1.1 background
Calculators have become such an important part of our daily lives, a lot of people use calculators for different functionality e.g., solving additional, division, multiplications and subtraction questions others use calculators in banks during money calculations, in shops and mostly in school to help solve different problems. Most calculators do not have round off functionality this becomes hectic while dealing with huge numbers that requires rounding off
round off calculators is a type of calculator that will help solve these problems, rounding off numbers to integers, one decimal place two decimal place, three decimal place and four decimal places, this will allow people choose to which decimal point they would like they answer to be in.
1.2 Problem statement
People faces different problems while calculating their mathematical functionalities, an example is that while dealing with huge numbers like 10000.097653638393663 they would like for the calculators to be able to round off to the nearest form. e.g., to the nearest integers, to the nearest one decimal, two decimal place three decimal place or even four decimal places.
1.3Justification of the Problem (Significance)
With proper Round off calculators’ people will enjoy using calculators, as while calculating they will be able to choose the type of round off, they want from their calculations. While calculating money problems they will be able to round off to the nearest integer.
1.4 Objectives
1. The calculator will be able to ask the number of decimals people would like to round off their answers in.
2.The calculator will be able to calculate additional division and subtraction while rounding off to the nearest form that individual wants
Chapter 2: Literature Review
introduction
This chapter will expand on the global literature review, regional literature review, local literature review that will be useful in this project.

The global calculator
The global calculator is a free and interactive tool that helps you understand the link between our lifestyles, the energy we use and the consequences of our climate, the calculator
shows that it is possible to prevent climate change and ensure peoples living standards continues to improve if we continue acting.

Chapter 3:
Methodology
Contains a full account of the approach, methods undertaken. This may include methods of data gathering, field intervention, sampling, and methods of system analysis.
1.0 Introduction.
This chapter will expand on the methodology that will be useful in the project, it will explain on the sample population and data collection methods
Locality of the project/ Beneficiary to the project.
Most people will be able to use this project .employees, accountants, students and any other pople doing calculations
Sample (Target group);
Mostly the people targeted are the students and teachers ,students and teachers are the peple who are mostly deals with the decimal places and rounding off numbers from their mathematics assignments and calcultions
Sampling method.
Random sampling
About 20 people
Data collection method(s);
This refers to the collection of information before implementing a new system. This information is vital since we will use the information or facts gathered here for the system development life cycle and system analysis stages.
The following fact-finding techniques are those that we used in implementing the new system.
Questionnaires
Interviews
observation
The following were ways used to collect data;
1. Questionnaire
A questionnaire was used to establish the work efficiency of the current system. This technique was used because it allowed us to collect different views and opinions from several people in the company.
The questionnaires were sent to the staff, supervisor as well as the general manager of the company and the results obtained here also enabled the analyst come up with relevant information on the current system. The questionnaire was administered to the workers of Computer Tech Company.
QUESTIONNAIRE.
BRIEF INTRODUCTION……………………… Date………….
………………………………………………………
………………………………………………………
QUESTIONS
How long have you used calculators?
……………….
would you like a round off option in a calculator?
………………
Rate calculator services from 1 to 10?
………………
Advantages of using questionnaires
Suitable for a large group of people.
More sincere answers because of the privacy.
Respondents fill the questionnaire at their own pace.
Limitations of Questionnaires
Good questionnaires are difficult to design.
Replies can be manipulated.
It is inconvenient in case of geographically dispersed individuals.
Chapter 4: Systems Analysis and System Design
Introduction
This chapter will be focusing on the functional requirements which is a description of the service that the software must offer, non -functional requirements which defines the system attributes such as security performances and usability ,use case diagrams which describes the high level functions and the scope of the system, context diagrams which is drawn in order to define and clarify the boundaries of the system software , DFD level 0 which is a basic overview of the whole system , DFD level 1 which depicts basic modules in the system and flow of data among various modules, class diagram which is a diagram used to designing and modelling software to describe classes and their relationships and ERD diagrams which is an entity Relationship diagram.
