Fiberglass is a material made from very fine strands of glass that are woven together and often combined with resin to form a strong, lightweight composite.  Fiberglasss is lightweight, strong and durable, non-conductive, and resistant to heat, corrosion, and moisture.

Fiberglass can be loose or in batt-style for use in walls and attics to provide heat insulation.
