The ATLI EON is a cool little camera that captures photos and generates time-lapse video automatically. Sometimes it can be hard to know how frequently you want to take photos to generate the desired finalized video length (i.e., the filming interval). You have to tell the camera how many seconds to wait between shots. The camera can set the time lapse interval from 0.5 sec to 24 hours.
This calculator determines the filming interval when you know how long you want your final video to be and how many hours you'll run the capture.
The camera generates videos at 25 frames/sec. In order to determine the filming interval, we determine the total number of secs divided by the total number of frames.
For example, if you will capture a scene for 10 hours and you want a 5 minute video length, you should set the camera's filming interval to 4.8 seconds per frame.
